Many processes were already digital – from trade fair stand planning and construction to graphic production. However, some commercial and organizational processes were still handled using paper-based workflows, individual solutions, and different systems. The goal was therefore to centralize information, seamlessly connect processes, and continue driving the company’s digitalization forward. SMC was looking for an ERP solution that would not only meet its current requirements but also grow with the company’s needs over the long term.
